"So, tell me why the fuck I had to give up my time off to come and investigate a damn planet? So they had an argument and blew each other up, case closed!"
"Shut up, Parker," said Lieutenant Commander Lan Drake. Drake stood in front of a half-destroyed building in the province of Hyve, part of the glassed continent on Navu II. Currently the leader of the famed 21st Reaper Corps., Drake stared at the structure with a sense of unease. There were still bullet holes in some of the walls. The Leonids
The year’s best naturally-occurring light show, the Leonids meteor shower, is due overhead on the nights of November 15 - 20. The passing comet “Tempel-Tuttle” leaves a debris field of meteoroid particles in its wake each year that the Earth will spin through on those nights. Larger “Leonids,” about 10 mm across, have a mass of half a gram and are known for their brightness. The Leonid shower may deposit 13 tons of particles across our planet. I've realized that I am well overdue for a cleaning of this account. There are many old deviations and things that need to be removed. I am almost thinking of simply scrapping this particular account and starting up a new one.
Alas, that seems almost more work than actually taking down all of my old work, so I'm not going to be doing it that way. The cleaning process will begin soon, I just need to decide when to sit down and actually do it. Until then I have a couple of projects that are in the making. I also want to put a small plug in for a little group I started.

It needs me
So not only did I manage to fix my computer issues, but I've upgraded altogether. My old machine is now in the trash somewhere. I got a fat return from my unused school grants and what better way to spend money than to spend on something that's just going to make me more money: my computer.
So I went out and bought a brand new motherboard, a dual core processor and 8 gigs worth or RAM. I'm still working on getting a decent graphics card so for now I'm content with onboard graphic provided by the processor. But my programs all run smooth as hell and Photoshop no longer freezes while I'm working on projects. I've been able to get back to work!
